SEVEN FINALISTS VIE FOR MIAMI-DADE'S TEACHER OF THE YEAR
AWARD
February 14, 2002
Miami-Dade County Public Schools' most outstanding teacher
will be named at the annual Francisco R. Walker Golden Apple
Teacher of the Year Ceremony at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at
the Radisson Mart Convention Center, 711 N.W. 72 Ave.,
Miami. Tickets for the event are $37 per person or $370 for
a table of ten.
Seven finalists have been nominated from the system's six
administrative regions and its Bureau of Adult/Vocational,
Alternative Education & Dropout Prevention.
