GOV. BUSH TO VISIT NORTH TWIN LAKES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AUG. 30 Aug. 29, 2002 Gov. Jeb Bush will visit North Twin Lakes Elementary School at 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 30. The school is located at 625 W. 74 Place, Hialeah. Bush will be joined by Superintendent Merrett R. Stierheim and School Board members in honoring the school's students and staff for outstanding academic achievement. The school received a school performance grade of "A" two years in a row, showing significant improvement from the "F" it received four years ago. Additionally, among third-graders taking the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) for the first time, 60 percent scored at level 3 or above in reading and 61 percent scored at level 3 or above in mathematics.
