WHY: |
Skyway Elementary School, a Title I school, scored in the 95th percentile among all Florida schools on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). The “A” school met its annual yearly progress targets under the federal “No Child Left Behind” program. Identified by Miami-Dade County Public Schools as a STELLAR (Schools Targeting Excellence in Literacy, Learning, and Reading) school, Skyway is part of a program that promotes high achievement while eliminating low student performance and improving literacy. |
