Workshop to discuss anabolic steroid use. With an increase in the consumption of anabolic steroid use among adolescents, and the inherent health consequences associated with anabolic steroid abuse, Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Division of Life Skills and Special Projects has partnered with the Miami Heat to offer professional advancement opportunities for teachers to educate youth on the detriments of anabolic steroid use and abuse. This workshop is the result of School Board Chairman Frank J. Bolaños’ efforts to bring this timely topic to the forefront in public schools. |
