WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE? WHO: More than 150 representatives from colleges and universities around the country. WHAT: 2005 National College Fair in Miami allows students and parents to meet with college representatives. Information sessions on financial aid, college planning and admission and testing requirements will be offered. Select sessions will be presented in Spanish and Haitian-Creole. On-site counseling and computer centers will allow students to access career interest surveys and information about college preparation, admissions and scholarships. Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) are sponsors of the event. School Board Member Perla Tabares Hantman is co-chair of the local committee of the National College Fair. WHEN: Sunday, February 20, noon - 4 p.m. Free Admission. Parking is $3. WHERE: Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel (formerly the Radisson Mart), 777 N.W. 72 Ave., Miami. Just off State Road 36 and Milam Dairy Road. WHY: This is an opportunity for students and their parents to learn about college, careers and future employment.
