STUDENTS TO LEAD PARENT CONFERENCE AT WHO: Students, parents, school staff and administrators WHAT: Frank C. Martin Elementary School is hosting its third student-led parent conference. In a twist on the traditional parent-teacher conference, each student will lead the conference with his or her parents. They will share schoolwork and discuss their progress, weaknesses and the goals they hope to accomplish this year. WHEN: Friday, Feb. 18, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. WHERE: Frank C. Martin Elementary School, 14250 Boggs Dr., Richmond Heights WHY: This conference is an innovative way for children to play an active role in their education, and also makes them aware of their own progress and areas where improvement may be needed.
