MDCPS PHYSICAL EDUCATION ADMINISTRATOR WINS NATIONAL AWARD MIAMI – Dr. Jayne Greenberg, the executive director of physical education for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, is the 2005 recipient of the National Association for Sport and Physical Education’s (NASPE) Channing Mann Outstanding Physical Education Administrator of the Year Award. She will receive her award at a national convention in Chicago on April 12-16. Presented by NASPE’s Council for School Leadership in Physical Education (CSLPE), the award honors those who have dedicated themselves to excellence as administrators through contributions to their profession and service to the organization’s mission. CSLPE’s Executive Committee cited Dr. Greenberg’s dedication and continued support for promoting quality physical education and activity in her community as qualities that make her worthy of this honor.
