CORAL GABLES SENIOR HIGH WINS
NATIONAL ADVANCED PLACEMENT AWARD

MIAMI – Coral Gables Senior High School has been selected as one of 12 schools nationwide to receive the prestigious 2004-05 Siemens Award for Advanced Placement.

Coral Gables Senior was chosen because of its increased participation in the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Program in the hard sciences and mathematics. The school also will be honored for its continued participation in the AP Program, and for providing students with an opportunity to expand their knowledge and advance beyond the standard curriculum. Coral Gables Senior High offers 24 AP courses and a recommended course sequence to prepare and position students to pursue an AP curriculum.
