“New” Holmes Elementary School Groundbreaking Ceremony |

WHY: |
Staff, students and parents will celebrate and observe construction and renovations atHolmes Elementary. A brunch immediately follows the ceremony. Holmes’ students are currently being housed at Lillie C. Evans Elementary School. Holmes is home to the NASA Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Aerospace Academy (SEMAA), an innovative national program that utilizes a series of unique hands-on, inquiry-based classroom curriculum enhancement activities. The school is scheduled to open for the 2007-2008 school year.
