STATEMENT ON THE RESIGNATION OF REP. RALPH ARZA

“We all agree that the truth does not change, whether hidden or exposed.  The truth has been exposed and has prevailed in this unfortunate situation, which had the potential to divide our community.
 
“We can now move forward to collectively address the critical needs of our children and ensure a quality education for each of them.
 
“We recognize this experience as a lesson for South Florida, where our cultural, ethnic or economic diversity must not polarize, but instead strengthen this community in providing the best examples and education possible for the children of Miami-Dade County Public Schools.”
