CORVETTE CARAVAN, SANTA CLAUS TO BRING GOOD CHEER,
GIFTS TO MENTALLY HANDICAPPED STUDENTS
        
          

WHO: 

Members of the Sunshine Corvette Club, Santa Claus, the Kendale Lakes Elementary Elves and the Miami Heat Dancers and mascot Burnie

WHAT:
A parade of 10-15 vintage Corvettes from the Sunshine Corvette Club will make its annual delivery of holiday gifts to 116 profoundly mentally handicapped students at Neva King Cooper Exceptional Education Center. School Board Member Ana Rivas Logan is scheduled to attend.
WHEN:
Tuesday, Dec. 12. Led by a police escort, the parade will arrive at the school by 9 a.m. Festivities, including a gift giveaway, will start at 9:30 a.m.
WHERE: 

Neva King Cooper Exceptional Education Center, 151 N.W. Fifth St., Homestead

WHY:

This is the 14th year the Sunshine Corvette Club members have coordinated the Neva King Holiday Wish List project, bringing fun, good cheer and gifts to much-deserving mentally handicapped children.
