WHY: |
Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Parent Academy will hold Family Education Night at 31 locations. The workshops will allow parents and students to learn helpful tips and will provide tools to enhance reading and comprehension skills. The Parent Academy provides courses that encourage parents to take an active role in their child’s education. Courses include free basic skills, personal growth and certification classes. Activities will include free dinner, prizes and entertainment.
