Runoff for Greater New York Auto Contest

WHY: |
Teams from two Miami-Dade Public Schools - Miami Lakes Educational Center and Southwest Miami Adult Education Center - and two from Broward County will be judged by representatives from DaimlerChrysler, Ford, GM and Honda as they perform a variety of skills tests in the areas of brakes, cylinder heads, electrical and manual transmissions/ transaxles. Teams will then compete in an on-vehicle inspection and repair of a mechanically failing car. The winning team will be invited to compete at the Greater New York Auto Contest, a part of the New York Auto Show, in April.
