MIAMI BEACH SENIOR HIGH STUDENT HONORED BY GOVERNOR MIAMI BEACH – Miami Beach Senior High School junior Veronica Gordon has been selected as the Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Governor’s High School All-Star. The Governor’s High School All-Stars is a program designed to honor high school juniors throughout Florida for academic excellence, leadership involvement and community activism. Gov. Bush will host a luncheon for all of the All-Stars in April at the Governor’s Mansion in Tallahassee. The luncheon will be followed by a roundtable discussion.
