SUPERINTENDENT’S ANNUAL MEETINGS, COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS MIAMI – Superintendent of Schools Rudy Crew will hold a series of six meetings at various school sites throughout the District to address issues of importance to students and parents and to share strategies that impact student academic performance and life after graduation. This year’s theme is “It Takes…Communication: a community Meeting with Superintendent Crew.” The annual meetings are open to the public. The meetings will take place February 11 – March 17, and will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., with student performances and recognitions followed by a presentation by Dr. Crew. After the superintendent’s presentation there will be four community workshops that will focus on the District’s legislative agenda, the Code of Student Conduct, Science and Exceptional Student Education. District staff will also be available to answer questions and provide essential information about other District programs and initiatives at the community resource center. Meeting schedule:
