KROP SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL TO HOST REGIONAL CENTER II SUPERINTENDENT’S ANNUAL MEETING, COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS

MIAMI – Superintendent of Schools Rudy Crew will hold the first of six meetings and community workshops at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School, 1410 N.E. 215 Street, on Monday, February 11, beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m.  The meeting will address issues of importance to students and parents and share strategies that impact student academic performance and life after graduation for those who attend schools in Region II.  This year’s theme is “It Takes…Communication: a community Meeting with Superintendent of Schools Rudy Crew.”  The meeting is open to the public.

Following the superintendent’s presentation there will be four community workshops that will focus on the District’s legislative agenda and budget, the Code of Student Conduct, Science, and Exceptional Student Education.  District staff will also be available to answer questions and provide essential information about other District programs and initiatives at a community resource center.

Parents who are not sure which region their child’s school is in should contact the child’s school directly.
