***MEDIA ADVISORY*** PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES CANCELED MIAMI - M-DCPS announced today that the early evening parent teacher conferences have been canceled due to the evolving budgetary constraints affecting the District. The conferences were scheduled for February 19 for elementary schools and K-8 centers, February 26 for middle schools, and March 4 for senior high schools. These conferences will not be rescheduled. Parents are encouraged to request conferences with teachers whenever necessary. As per School Board policy, all schools schedule Parent/Teacher conferences upon parental request. In continuing efforts to foster home/school partnerships, schools have already hosted two early release Parent/Teacher Conference sessions this school year; one in the Fall and another following the Winter Break. ### 08-JJS/255/QT |
