M-DCPS Honors Top Employees Of The Year

MIAMI — Miami-Dade County Public Schools honored its finest employees at an awards ceremony this week at Jungle Island.  Superintendent Rudy Crew presented the Education Awards for Exemplary Service, informally known as the “Eddies,” to employees who have shown outstanding professionalism and dedication to their work in education.  Nearly 1,000 school employees, family members and friends paid tribute to the honorees.

The winner and runner-up in each category are as follows:

Principal of the Year

Adrianne F. Leal, Coral Reef Senior High, Runner-up

Assistant Principal of the Year
            William Aristide, John F. Kennedy Middle, Winner

AFSCME Employee of the Year

Office Employee of the Year
