STINSON, PÉREZ CHOSEN TO LEAD MIAMI-DADE SCHOOL BOARD MIAMI – Dr. Solomon C. Stinson, School Board Member, was chosen today for the fourth time to chair the Miami-Dade County School Board for the current school year. Dr. Stinson was elected to the School Board in 1996 to represent the schools in District 2. He previously served as chair during the 1996-97, 1997-98, and 1998-99 school years. Dr. Marta Pérez, School Board Member, was selected as Vice Chair. Dr. Pérez, who represents District 8, was elected to the School Board in 1998.
