The Superintendent will inform parents of a proposed plan that affects nine chronically low-performing schools: Liberty City Elementary, Holmes Elementary, Miami Central Senior High, Miami Edison Senior High, Miami Norland Senior High, North Miami Senior High, Carol City Senior High, Corporate Academy South and Homestead Senior High. The schools need to raise their school grade to a C and improve math and reading scores by the end of the school year, or face sanctions including closure.
