WHY:

Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial High School is the first school of its kind. Miami-Dade County Public Schools and The City of Miami/Miami Police Department have joined forces to provide students with a unique opportunity in the areas of law and law enforcement. The focus is to provide a rigorous comprehensive education while tying in the program's career objectives with access to forensic science labs, courtroom labs, and computer simulation centers.

The badge symbolizes the principles of integrity, honor and respect. Students will take an oath during the badge ceremony that encourages the practice of those principles every day in their studies and behavior.
