HIALEAH HIGH’S HEALTHCORPS RECEIVES A $75,000 CHECK Miami – Miami-Dade Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho accepted a $75,000 check on behalf of Hialeah Senior High School’s HealthCorps Program from noted Miami business and civic leader Tibor Hollo, of Florida East Coast Realty. The presentation was held at Hialeah High. The Vice Chair for Miami-Dade County School Board, Perla Tabares Hantman was also present during this ceremony. HealthCorps is a health movement founded by the popular TV talk show heart surgeon “Dr. Oz.” – Mehmet Oz – to fight the obesity and mental resilience crisis through an in-school educational and mentoring system.
