55th Annual South Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair Awards Ceremony

Thursday, February 26, 7 p.m.

Miami-Dade College-North Campus, Lehman Theatre, 11380 N.W. 27 Avenue

The awards ceremony will recognize students for their accomplishments at the 2009 South Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Twenty-one Miami-Dade County Public Schools students received a Superior rating on their projects. The science fair showcases the explorations of middle and senior high school students throughout the community. Projects can open the doors to college scholarships and advanced academics.

The eight winners that will compete in the International Science and Engineering Fair will be announced during the ceremony. The International Science and Engineering Fair will be held May 11-15 in Reno, Nevada.
