ROBERT RENICK EDUCATIONAL CENTER TO HOLD GRAND OPENING, DEDICATION CEREMONY FOR GREENHOUSE

MIAMI – Robert Renick Educational Center will host a Grand Opening/Dedication Ceremony for its new Holloway Shade House on Wednesday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m. The school is located at 2201 N.W. 207th Street, Miami Gardens.

The greenhouse is a tribute to Dr. Wilbert “Tee” Holloway, Miami-Dade County School Board member for District 1. Dr. Holloway is a great supporter of green initiatives throughout the District and provided the resources to build the greenhouse. It will allow the school to improve its horticultural program and ensure greater success with student projects.

The school is named after Robert Renick, who served on the School Board for 25-years. Renick proposed the idea of a specialized center for exceptional students that would provide more services and structure for them. He was the first sitting School Board member to have a school named after him.
