Twilight Walk and Family Fun Night

Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Department of Physical Education & Health Literacy and the Department of Food & Nutrition, in partnership with Miami-Dade County Council of PTAs/PTSAs, will host the Twilight Walk and Family Fun Night. The event supports good health and wellness for all children. In keeping with the belief that a healthy child will perform better, this event is designed to motivate our students and parents to achieve a healthier lifestyle. 

The Miami-Dade County Council of PTAs/PTSAs is the largest council of PTAs/PTSAs in the state of Florida with nearly 59,000 members.  The organization advocates for children in schools and the community, urging government agencies and organizations to support education and programs benefiting children. The council helps parents build the necessary skills to support and protect kids. Also, they encourage parent and public involvement.
