WHY: |
Parents and students in grades six through 12, as well as post secondary students are encouraged to attend the 2008-2009 Student Career Pathways EXPO to learn more about Career and Technical programs and services provided by Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Miami-Dade College.
The free EXPO allows participants to learn about career academy programs such as Architecture and Construction; Information Technology; Hospitality and Tourism; Education; Health Science and so much more. The EXPO is an opportunity to help students choose a career path for the future. Miami-Dade County Public Schools students accompanied by their parents can take advantage of free transportation from all eight Miami-Dade College campuses starting at 9:00 a.m. and shuttled back and forth until 4:00 p.m., in addition to Miami-Dade Transit (buses and metro rail) from select Miami-Dade public schools to the EXPO.
