Title I District Chess Championship

Over 600 students from 56 schools are scheduled to participate in the event. Students will compete in five categories, K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Playing chess is an excellent way for students to strengthen problem-solving and math skills as well as boost self-esteem and foster good sportsmanship.
