MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO ASSIST HAITIAN COMMUNITY IN CONTACTING RELATIVES IN HAITI MIAMI - Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is stepping up its efforts to aid the Haitian community by offering Internet access at select schools this weekend to facilitate communication between local residents and their families and friends in Haiti. People who would like to contribute to Haiti relief efforts can do so online at www.dadeschools.net. Those wishing to pay by check should make checks out to “The Foundation for New Education Initiatives, Inc.”, and indicate “Haiti Earthquake Relief” in the memo section of the check. Checks should be mailed to 1450 NE 2nd Avenue, Room #776, Miami Florida 33132.
