All residents across the United States are beginning to receive the 2010 Census Questionnaire Forms in the mail. Friday, March 19, 2010 is Census Day for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. All District SBAB and Annex based employees are invited to participate in a Joint Census Form Mailing.
The Census is a count of every U.S. resident. The form has ten questions that should take only 10 minutes to complete. It will determine each state’s population and the number of seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. Every year, the federal government allocates more than $400 billion to states and communities, in part, based on census data for schools, hospitals, roads, job training centers, child-care, senior centers, and more. Any personal data you provide is protected under federal law and will not be shared with other persons, agencies or law enforcement entities. Remember, the Census is EASY, SAFE and IMPORTANT.
