Shenandoah Middle School students were the authors of “Building a Dream,” a book detailing the development and architectural heritage of the City of Coral Gables. The students, who participate in Shenandoah’s Museum Magnet School Program, completed 15 hand-bound editions of the book last year. The book was so well received that a group of Coral Gables residents, organizations, and community leaders decided to fund its further production. The book will be available for sale with proceeds to benefit children’s educational programs at the museum.
