- PHOTO RELEASE – YOUNG WOMEN’S PREPARATORY ACADEMY GRADUATES FIRST CLASS MIAMI — Fourteen members of the first graduating class of the Young Women’s Preparatory Academy received diplomas during commencement ceremonies June 11th. All of the graduates plan to attend college at institutions, including Mount Holyoke University, University of Miami, Loyola University, Florida International University, University of Denver, and Miami Dade College. The Academy is Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ first single-gender school.
