Graduation Ceremony for Region V College Tour Institute students

Eighty one students from M-DCPS’ Region V schools participated in a four week Summer College Tour Institute to receive pertinent information regarding university/college entrance requirements and strategies to prepare for the college application process. Informational presentations to   parents were a component of the Institute, as well as the development of an action plan, selecting courses of study, the completion of the application, essay, and financial aid items.  M-DCPS’ Region V offered the program in conjunction with the Village of Pinecrest.  The graduation ceremony will serve as the culminating event for the program participants and their parents.
