*** PHOTO RELEASE *** M-DCPS’ PRIMARY LEARNING CENTER HELD Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Primary Learning Center (PLC) held a Celebration of Literacy and Literature Parade today. Students were dressed as their favorite book characters and read stories with guests. Guest readers included School Board Members Lawrence S. Feldman and Wilbert "Tee" Holloway, and Superintendent of Schools Alberto M. Carvalho. The school event was sponsored by Scholastic. Patrick Cucci, Director of Community and District Wide Partnerships for Scholastic, donated 590 books to the school as part of its literacy campaign. EDITOR’S NOTE: Photos Attached.
