M-DCPS, BANK OF AMERICA TO HOLD ‘PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY’, MIAMI – On Wednesday, November 17, more than 370 of Miami-Dade County's business and civic leaders will take a break from their daily responsibilities to head to the principal's office, where they will learn what it takes to run the county's public schools as part of Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Principal for a Day program. The program’s goal is to turn the leaders’ one-day experience into long-term, active partnerships with schools, enhancing overall student achievement and resulting in a stronger, more educated workforce.
