North Dade Middle School and North Dade Center for Modern Languages Elementary School Groundbreaking Ceremony

The North Dade campus is comprised of both the North Dade Middle School and North Dade Center for Modern Languages Elementary School. It is scheduled to re-open August 2012.  The project includes a new two-story classroom building and an administration building for North Dade Middle School. In addition, a two-story classroom building for North Dade Center for Modern Languages will be constructed. A new cafeteria building with a “Food Shelter” will be shared by both the elementary and middle schools. 

New construction will also include a physical education shelter and chiller plant.  Site work is to include an entry plaza, parent and bus drop-off areas, covered walkways, parking lot expansion, a new playground and hard courts for the elementary school. Renovations to the existing building include painting, locker room renovations, air conditioning the gymnasium, improvements to the auditorium and tennis court renovations.
