Earth Day 2011 marks year two of the collaboration between the artist, the School Board, the Miami Science Museum and the Deering Estate at Cutler. This year, as a culmination to Earth Month activities, the Reclamation Project provided trees and flags to each Miami-Dade County public school so that a native tree is planted in each campus.
