JOHN A. FERGUSON HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR INVITED TO John A. Ferguson Senior High School’s Choir has been invited to perform at the Olympic Games in London next year. The students are holding a fundraising concert on May 24 at 6 p.m. at the school. John A. Ferguson Senior High School is located at 15900 S.W. 56th Street, Miami, FL 33185. “The students have done well this year with superior ratings at State Assessment, a performance in Carnegie Hall, and an invitation to represent the United States at the Olympic Games in London next summer” said Ryan Ellis, the band director. “The concert on May 24th will feature our students in choir and band playing alongside a who's who in Latin Jazz, including Bobby Ramirez, Ed Calle, Nicole Yarling, Leon Foster Thomas, Jorge Rodriguez, Mark Gregory, and Brian Russell.” The concert is open to the public and all proceeds will go toward travel expenses for the Olympic Games.
