PORTUGAL AMBASSADOR TO VISIT MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS Dr. Nuno Brito, Portugal Ambassador to the United States, will visit Miami-Dade County Public Schools today. Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho, who was born in Portugal, will welcome the ambassador at 12:30 p.m. in Room 904 of the School Board Administration Building. Approximately 1.5 million Portuguese immigrants and descendants live in the United States. Ambassador Brito has suggested that the Portuguese continue to work closely with expatriates around the world for the strengthening of influential multilateral relations.
