SUPERINTENDENT CARVALHO PRESENTS BUDGET RECOMMENDATIONS Superintendent of Schools Alberto M. Carvalho will present recommendations to the Florida Board of Education at the Board’s meeting this morning in Tampa. Carvalho was one of a small number of presenters invited by the Board to present innovative ideas to provide adequate funding for K-12 education statewide next year. This unprecedented opportunity allows Carvalho to express the funding needs of large, urban school districts such as Miami-Dade.
