*** PHOTO RELEASE*** ADULT AND COMMUNITY EDUCATORS OF FLORIDA NAMED M-DCPS DIRECTOR Adult and Community Educators of Florida (ACE) has selected Miami-Dade Public Schools Administrative Director Robert Gornto, as School Administrator of the Year. The award was presented during the ACE Annual Conference held in Orlando, Florida. "It is an honor to be recognized by such a prestigious organization," said Mr. Gornto. "More important it is a humbling experience to be nominated by such a great group of principals." ACE presents the School Administrator of the Year to an administrator who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in adult or community education by selecting, developing, and supporting effective teachers. Also, the chosen individual must develop and implement innovative programs while attaining accomplishments when working with students, programs, agenCies and communities. Mr. Gornto has been employed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools for 30 years. During that time he has demonstrated exemplary commitment to professional and community organizations, which support adult and community education.
