Science with a Twist (S.W.A.T.) Event

Lesley Cochran Fletcher, Ph.D., Deputy Division Chief of Education, NASA will guide students and parents in creating straw rockets. The S.W.A.T. initiative, known as Science With a Twist, is an interactive learning program where parents and students come together to participate in a variety of hands-on math and science activities. Students and parents are engaged in fun-filled activities that challenge them to complete several math tasks, as well as, develop their critical thinking skills in science. The event is sponsored by The Parent Academy and S.W.A.T., Inc.
