IVY LEAGUE UNIVERSITIES

WHO:	Students from School for Advanced Studies, administrators and counselors from SAS
WHAT:	Departure of Ivy League Tour to Harvard, Yale, Princeton and other universities
WHEN:	Monday, November 14, 2011 Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at Miami Dade College Departure starts at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Lauderdale International Airport
WHERE:	Miami Dade College North Campus Building 2 11380 NW 27 Avenue Miami, FL	Fort Lauderdale Airport Southwest Airlines Terminal 100 Aviation Boulevard Fort Lauderdale, FL
WHY:	In an effort to expose students to opportunities offered by premier colleges and universities in the U.S., students from SAS along with administrators and counselors, will embark on a week long journey to visit select Ivy League colleges and universities. It will be an excellent experience for young people who are predominantly minorities and may have come from very modest financial backgrounds where attendance at an Ivy League school might not have otherwise been considered. School for Advanced Studies, a nationally recognized high school of excellence, initiated these Ivy League tours four years ago and they have been a tremendous success.
