Angel Rosie Pierre, a student at Phyllis Ruth Miller Elementary School receives a toy from Santa Claus and his elves as Superintendent of Schools Alberto M. Carvalho looks on. For more than nine years, the Office of School Facilities has been collecting and distributing toys to the children of M-DCPS. Started as an internal department initiative, it has now become a district-wide event. More than 6,000 toys were donated by employees for distribution this year.
