School District's 2003 United Way
Campaign a Great Success
Miami-Dade County Public Schools students and employees
raised $2.2 million for the United Way, again making our
school district the top one in the nation for raising funds
for the United Way, according to a report received by the
Board.
In congratulating and thanking the School Board for the
district's remarkable support, United Way of Miami-Dade CEO
Harve Mogul said, "Not only are the dollars raised and not
only are they leveraged, but each of you teach our students
