*** PHOTO RELEASE *** M-DCPS HOSTED SUCCESSFUL 2012 SOUTH FLORIDA REGIONAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING FAIR
Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) recently celebrated the 2012 South Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair at Miami Dade College North Campus. Pictured above are students from Young Women’s Preparatory Academy displaying their banner during the Opening Ceremonies of event. M-DCPS elementary, middle and senior high school students throughout the county participated in the Fair with many projects under the theme, “Moving full STEaM ahead!” Projects can open the doors to college scholarships and advanced academics. Students received certificates, medals, trophies and cash prizes as rewards. Parents in attendance also participated in different learning activities.
