SUPERINTENDENT CARVALHO TO BE INSTALLED
AS FADSS AREA DIRECTOR

On Wednesday, September 12, Superintendent of Schools Alberto M. Carvalho is scheduled to be installed as an Area Director of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents (FADSS).  The installation will take place during the FADSS Fall Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Superintendent Carvalho will be installed as the Area Director for Area VII, which includes the school districts of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.  His term runs through June 2013.

The FADSS is a statewide professional organization dedicated to serving the needs of Florida’s 67 school superintendents.  The mission of the FADSS is to assist and support superintendents in providing leadership to ensure that students acquire the skills, knowledge and mindset to be contributing members of our society through leadership development programs, relationships with business and governmental leaders, and communication and networking services.
