HIALEAH GARDENS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL RECEIVES MORE THAN $20,000 IN MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

Hialeah Gardens Senior High School was recently selected by The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation to receive musical instruments valued at $21,059. The school will receive three trumpets, two alto saxophones, one tenor saxophone, two double French horns and three clarinets.

The school was recognized for its outstanding music program, which proved to be a worthwhile investment. The instrument donation will allow for more students to participate in music courses and enjoy the benefits of music education.

The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation services underserved schools with new and refurbished musical instruments. Over the past 16 years, the Foundation has donated more than 15,000 instruments to 1,273 schools and community programs across the nation.
