***PHOTO RELEASE*** Assistant Superintendent for Legislative Relations Iraida Mendez-Cartaya was recently recognized with the Marge Pearlson Award from the Coalition for Community Education. The award is given to a community person who gives tirelessly to Community/Adult Education at the school or district level. It is named for an outstanding citizen advocate who continues to dedicate her life to promoting the virtues of Community/Adult Education.
