Schools Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho is surrounded by the cast of “Annie Jr.’ from William Lehman Elementary School. Isabella Stoffle, who stars as “Annie” is pictured just left of the Superintendent. The students are part of Lehman’s group The Drama Factory, which puts on a performance every year with the support of the school’s PTSA. “The Drama Factory’s outstanding presentations demonstrate the importance of providing arts and music education for our students,” said Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho. “We will continue to include arts and music education opportunities for Miami-Dade County Public Schools students.” This is the school’s 15th year of presentations. Students have offered the community their own versions of: “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Chicago” and many others.
