SUPERINTENDENT ALBERTO M. CARVALHO ATTEMPTS TO BREAK
HIS OWN RECORD OF GRADUATION ATTENDANCE

Miami-Dade Superintendent of Schools Alberto M. Carvalho is attempting to break his own record of attending high school graduation ceremonies this year.  Last year, he visited and spoke at 24 of the district’s graduations; this year he is scheduled to visit and speak at 26 ceremonies.

“It’s a privilege and an honor for me to visit as many of our graduation ceremonies as I possibly can,” said Carvalho.  “I want to encourage our graduates and extend my personal thanks to their parents, teachers and administrators for helping them successfully attain this important step in life.”

The public can follow Superintendent Carvalho’s progress on Twitter at https://twitter.com/MiamiSup.  His last scheduled graduation is Miami Beach Senior High School on Friday, June 7, at 3 p.m. at The Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater.
